Akahito (アカヒトさん, Akahito-san; literally 銅人さん or "red person") is one of the Seven Mysteries of Seikyou Academy. The story is connected with the school's cultural festival, and involves a grisly being who drains away the blood of anyone he catches inside the campus beyond the curfew time.

Kirie surmised that the rumor was initiated by the teachers, for the sake of preventing students from violating curfew time.

60 years ago, During Yuukos lifetime, Akahito was used by vilage elders as a means to try and stop a plague from killing a towns inhabitants, Asagi (Teiichi's Grandmother) was chosen as the Akahito and she called Yuuko, who they subsequently sealed in a hidden room of the school.
